In Luke 12:49-59 Jesus asked His disciples, "Did you think that I came to bring peace to the earth? And then He answered, "No, I came to bring division..." He also spoke of bringing fire. O.K. So what happened to Jesus being "the Prince of Peace" and the angels at the nativity declaring that He would bring peace? Jesus often healed and then said, "Peace be to you..." So why did Jesus say in Luke 12 that He did not come to bring peace to the earth? This message tackles this question and more.
